About the Collection
Sining Arkitektura is a curated digital archive dedicated to the works of the Philippines’ National Artists in Architecture. It serves as a platform where architecture is not only presented as built form, but as a cultural narrative shaped by history, identity, and place.
Featuring the works of visionaries such as Pablo S. Antonio, Francisco Mañosa, Leandro V. Locsin, and Juan Nakpil. The site explores how each architect translated Filipino values into space, material, and form. From modernist clarity to vernacular expression, these works collectively define the evolving language of Philippine architecture.
About the Authors
Arkidz
We are a group of architecture students who created this curated digital gallery to showcase the works of the Philippines’ National Artists in Architecture. As students, we’ve come to realize that some of these important structures are already being altered or even demolished. Because of this, we wanted to create a space where their works can still be seen, studied, and appreciated. This gallery is our way of helping preserve their legacy through digital documentation.
